Description
A rustic property converted into an agritourism property, located 1.5 km from the village of Sant Climent and about a 10-minute drive from various beaches in the southern part of Menorca.
The property comprises approximately 100,000 m2 of land and more than 1,300 m2 of buildings spread over the main house (built, we are informed, during the British rule of the island) and other agricultural buildings, such as a cowshed, hayloft, stables, and garages. Today, some of these buildings have been renovated and converted into bedrooms and/or rooms that provide additional services for guests.
The main house has a beautiful and spacious open entrance, featuring antique carriages on display, and independent access to four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning units in each. We also find another door that leads to the upper floor, where we find a 4-bedroom home with 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen with a living-dining room, and a beautiful south-facing terrace. Completely renovated in a rustic style, it has air conditioning and underfloor heating, also equipped for winter. Returning to the ground floor, we find a large kitchen, laundry room, and large storage room.
On the north façade, we find other rooms with separate entrances, each with en-suite bedrooms. Another, slightly larger room opens onto a private terrace next to the forest. It features a large double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and, like the rest, air conditioning.
The property features a large restored cowshed with exposed beams and sandstone walls, which serves as a multipurpose area for the hotel. In front of this cowshed, we find a covered outdoor terrace where breakfast is served.
Part of the cowshed remains in need of restoration and is currently used as a warehouse and for animal care (although it needs renovation, its structure is solid: the central arches are built in sandstone, and the rest is built in stone).
The materials used in the renovation are natural sandstone, artisan tiles, marble, wood, and rustic stoneware, taking great care to maintain the essence of the original construction from the period in which the property was built. On the property, we find a small riding arena, an outdoor pool, a sun terrace, large gardens, a farming area, and two threshing floors.
The agritourism property has the corresponding license and currently has animals such as lambs, horses, and a donkey. Furthermore, due to the characteristics of the land, we are advised that it is possible to plant grapevines and olive trees.
It has electricity with a three-phase meter and its own water well.
